Porcelain stoneware inspired by Marble

M Glanshammar White Honed

Wall / Floor / Frost resistant / Modular adapted

Info

M Glanshammar White Honed is a polished porcelain stoneware in a light, grey tone. Inspired by the iconic Swedish Ekeberg marble, which is mined in Glanshammar outside Örebro. Ekeberg is an elegant, classic and exclusive stone that has been called the Swedish Carrara marble. Based on that, we developed a variant in the same pattern as Ekeberg marble but with a base tone and vein color inspired by the Carrara.

Series M Glanshammar in porcelain stoneware is light white gray with hints of darker gray veins and a honed velvety surface. Suitable for floor and wall in home environments and for walls in public areas.
The Honed surface is, as the name implies, a finely sanded surface. After firing, the surface is sanded in the same way as polishing is done in the traditional stone industry. Honed can in some cases also be called semi-polished.

Porcelain stoneware is industrially made from natural raw materials, mainly consisting of finely ground feldspar, sand and clay.
The material is dry-pressed under high pressure and then fired at high temperatures. The result is an extremely durable material we call porcelain stoneware!
The material can withstand strong cleaning agents, acids and foods as well as high wear from both pedestrian traffic and kitchen utensils.
Fits most surfaces in home environments as well as public spaces and surfaces.
Recommended joint paint ARDEX Silver Grey
